This shirt performs as well or better than my favorite big brand shirts. The mesh is phenomenal and it want it on everything. The main material has almost a very fine swim material feel (some may not like this).
I wore this shirt riding and to work at the barn. In very warm, sunny (mid 80’s with high humidity) and chillier, overcast (mid 60’s with mid to high humidity) weather. The shirt kept me comfortable with the weather and activity. The sweat wicking is great and the material dries quickly.
The fit in the body is nearly identical to the Smartpak Hadley sunshirt. I wear a large in both and both skim my torso without being to tight or sloppy loose. The length is perfect for tucking in without too much bulk.
My only struggle is the same one I have with nearly all shirts. I have very broad shoulders and long arms (24” from shoulder seam to wrist). The raglan sleeve attachment helps with movement across the back, but the sleeves are still quite short on me. Not enough to not wear, but maybe I’ll skip it for a show or clinic. If you do not have orangutan arms, you will be good!
The neck is higher than any other sunshirt I’ve tried which took some getting used to. But it’s comfortable and provides so much sun protection to a very overlooked area. The headphone straps convinced me to pull out my wired headphones for working and I do not regret it.
Overall, I love the shirt and the size chart is quite accurate. I ordered based on my measurements.
